About The Boom Boom Fishroom
A registered Iowa small business breeding fancy guppies in-house.
Who We Are
The Boom Boom Fishroom LLC is a registered Iowa small business. We breed and raise fancy guppies in our own fish room in eastern Iowa. We are not a reseller: the fish we sell are the fish we breed.
We work in small batches, one strain at a time, so each line gets real attention.
How We Raise Our Fish
Our guppies are raised on live baby brine shrimp and a varied diet of flake, micro pellets, algae wafers, blanched vegetables and Repashy gel food. They are conditioned on flake before they ship, so they arrive eating what you already have at home.
See what each strain looks like and how to care for it on the Our Fish page.
How We Ship
Every order is packed in breather bags inside an insulated, foam-lined box and sent USPS Priority Mail, backed by our live arrival guarantee. The full process is on the How We Ship page.
Where to Find Us
Our live listings are on eBay. We also bring guppies, Super Red Bristlenose plecos, cherry shrimp and live daphnia to regional fish swaps and aquarium expos, as available. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook for event dates and the weekly featured strain.
